On the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of Santa Teresa Gallura (August 12, 1808 – August 12, 2026), the Municipal Administration and the Tourist Office are pleased to present the official program of celebrations to be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
An unmissable event for citizens and visitors, dedicated to enhancing the traditions, history, and culture of our village.
8:15 PM – Historical Parade and Reenactment Historical parade through the streets of the village with the participation of:
- Town Crier
- Drummers and Trumpeters ProLoco of Oristano with the Historical Parade of Eleonora D’Arborea
- Extra actors and yoked, garlanded oxen
- “Ventu d’Agliola” Association of Santa Teresa Gallura
- “Lungoni” Folk Group of Santa Teresa Gallura
- “Norkalis” Cultural Association Folk Group of Orune
- City of Oristano Folk Group
- Traditional Sardinian identity masks: “Sos Tintinnatos de Thiniscole” of Siniscola Parade
Route: Departure from Piazza Villamarina → Via Maria Teresa → Piazza San Vittorio → Via Carlo Felice → Via XX Settembre → Arrival at Piazza Vittorio Emanuele I.
10:00 PM – Piazza Vittorio Emanuele I
- Performance by folk groups
- Concert by Beppe Dettori and his band
- Host of the evening: Cecilia Concas 12:00 AM
- Concluding Fireworks Display.
