To help you to organize your safe trip, we created a page to publish updates relating to ordinances and rules on how to get Sardinia and how to use public spaces and services in the area.
The only private hospital in northern Sardinia (and the nearest to Santa Teresa) to have obtained the inscription in the list of health facilities authorized to perform the Covid 19 molecular diagnosis in favor of non-patients is Mater Olbia Hospital.
It can be requested from:
- Assisted citizens, free of symptoms, upon request of the prescribing physicians;
- Foreign citizens who must comply with any requests for certification of negativity for the return to their State of origin.
The PCR swab will be provided with a “drive-in” path. The fee for the nasopharyngeal swab, including nasopharyngeal sampling, is €65,00.
Access to the drive-in swab requires:
- previous booking by filling in the registration form active every day from Monday to Friday until 5 p.m.
- proceeding with the online payment
- attaching, for the assisted citizens, the medical prescription
At the time of the booking you can indicate the day on which you prefer to take the examination which will be confirmed by the system, based on availability for that specific date.

Starting on 14 September 2020 and until 7th October 2020 all passengers coming from abroad and/or from the national territory are invited to present, upon boarding, the results of a test – serological (IgG and IgM) or molecular (RNA) or Quick Antigenic – performed no later than 48 hours after departure, which have given a negative result for Covid-19.
Alternatively, a specific self-certification can be completed online, through the Sardegna Sicura system, pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 445/2000, proving to have undergone, in the 48 hours prior to entering the regional territory, a serological, molecular or antigenic test, the result of which was negative, taking care to indicate obligatorily: a) the type of test and the date of execution; b) the name of the medical facility (public, private or accredited private) in which test has been done.
Passengers without the necessary certification agree to undergo a molecular or antigenic or serological test, within 48 hours of entering Sardinia, to be carried out by the local healthcare company, or in an accredited private laboratory, or in the medical facility of destination. Until the test fails, it is mandatory to observe fiduciary home isolation.
